I love people watching and it helps me in treating patients. A win for my patients, and a win for me! It is an honor for me to be your orthodontist.
I love the uniqueness of each patient: your quirks and individual outlook, especially regarding orthodontics. During each appointment, while I check the progression of treatment and make the necessary adjustments, we talk. Your stories and laughter always leave me smiling and looking forward to our next visit.
The impact of smile transformation on a patient’s dental function, appearance, and confidence is particularly rewarding for me. I also enjoy a good challenge and designing an individualized care plan for each patient is just that. I am daily called upon to assess clinical needs and balance them with aethetics and other concerns to create a healthy, beautiful smile for each individual.

I take advantage of every continuing education (CE) opportunity my schedule allows. CE keeps me current on new developments in technology and treatments and allows me to learn from the leaders in the field as well as from my peers. I participate in numerous meetings, conference, lectures, and a study club with my local colleagues. This ensures I am able to provide my patients with the best options available to create their new smile.

PERSONAL LIFE
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, I’ve called the mountains of Altadena my home for 15 years. My husband, Zack, and I have two sons – Oliver and Felix.
Besides orthodontics I have a passion for exercise, traveling, and food. I love running and hiking, and exploring all that life in Los Angeles offers! I am a self-diagnosed serial class-taker: you teach it, I learn it. Mindfulness, meditation, scuba diving, photography, sewing, cooking, natural hair dying, and many more topics have grabbed my interest. What can I learn from you?
